Connect 4 Respect will take place from July 12 through 15 at Dutchess Community College from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The free, four-day leadership program is open to 15 Dutchess County middle school leaders. It covers topics such as bullying, cyberbullying and internet safety.
Accepted students will have the opportunity to cultivate the skills to become peer leaders and to identify the type of leader they are. They will also learn teamwork, leadership and communication skills, conflict resolution and how to be an upstander at school and the community.
The students will create an anti-bullying campaign for their schools as their final project in the program.
Meals will be provided all four days.
